Sig Sauer P226R purchase
Finally found what I was looking for after trying out so many in the demo program. This P226 fits my hand perfectly, feels like ergonomic heaven, and the recoil is amazingly tame.
Hopefully I'll find some time this week to enjoy it on the range.
I was thinking of another Comp-Tac holster - perhaps the "infidel" will be good?
To avoid the "worthless without pics" reply, here is a quick snapshot.

Excellent choice. The 226 is a fine pistol.
I carry mine in an MTAC, and it's very comfortable.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

Can a gunner even use the word "ergonomic" ? Just kidding a great looking weapon, and I know the "infidel" will work well for you. Congrats.

For those of us with smaller hands, the magazine eject button is extremely hard to push with your thumb without twisting the gun to the left for better leverage. I really enjoy my 226 though, and didn't want to get rid of it just because I couldn't stay on target and drop the clip at the same time (CHL instructors seem to really hate that). While I was breaking it down for cleaning the other night, I discovered that the eject button can be moved quite easily from the left side to the right side! Much easier to get to with my right index finger. So the 226 stays!

I've always liked mine. I'm just glad I got it before SIG started putting rails an almost everything.

Great gun and I highly recommend the Infidel, I like mine with the clip and strut for my 228.
