If he didn't think anymore then that of my business I'd find another dealer and tell him that as I was going out the door.

I got mine off of gunbroker from a dealer that said he also won't sell them in his store. As soon as they come from Ruger, he puts them up on gunbroker with a "buy now" price a little higher than normal list. He says every one of them sells in short order. My local shop/range says they have a waiting list that's 27 people long and Ruger has only been sending them one or two LCPs a month. To be honest, lots of these dealers could probably put them up on gunbroker with a $400 reserve and still sell them like hotcakes. I think they're showing some restraint in selling them in the low $300s. The gun is incredibly popular.

I like the way they look and eventually they should be reliable cuz they're 2nd Gen KelTec P3AT clones and a Ruger ... I'll pick one up in a year or so.

Meanwhile the KT P3s been on the job for 2 1/2 yrs with over 1100 perfect rounds.

My local store could get one for me ... sez about a 1 - 2 month wait usually.

No, the Ruger LCP is a double action only with no safety. The gun is also without an automatic slide lock after the last round of the magazine, but it does have a small manual slide lock lever.

The trigger pull is enough safety. You won't have it going off without an intentional pull.

I finally fired an LCP and a P3AT yesterday. I was surprised at the recoil, it really packs a punch! Of course, the tiny grip doesn't help. I found the LCP to be much better finished and just felt better. The trigger pull on both is awful, but the Kel-Tec felt lighter. Sure seems like a great pocket BUG!

Would this work in a front pocket as well?

You can view the closed auctions to get a good idea of what they are actually selling for there. Lots of the higher reserve listings never sell. I lucked out by getting one for $300 including shipping. I also found a FFL agent in my area who listed on GunBroker, that did the transfer for $12.50. Gunbroker is a fantastic resource.

It will, just a little more difficult to draw. The full flap on the one side is meant to go outward in your back pocket, allowing your fingers to slide in between your butt and the butt of the gun. The material is wonderful for grasping the cloth and staying in the pocket, plus it has a waterproof layer to protect your gun.

Great. I have been looking for an alternative to my DeSantis Super Fly to accommodate the LCP with the coming Crimson Trace LaserGrip.

Looks like it should work with the new CT's. Have you found an outlet for them yet?

Crimson Trace has officially announced their plans, however, no time line on development and release has been forthcoming. We'll have to wait for a while.
