Where I live they are on backorder with lists. I was number 9. I bought mine through GunBroker.com. It was a very professional experience. I even found an FFL agent through them that did the transfer for $12.50.
If you check out GunBroker.com you can view auctions that have closed so that you can get an idea of what kind of prices to expect before you bid. Also, for confidence, check out the seller's feedback. I've made four purchases through them and I'm completely satisfied.

My reccomendation is to call around to gun shops in your area every so often. Sometimes they get one in and it is under the radar of all those on lists at the big shops. That is how I got mine. Just called every friday and got one in a couple of weeks.

I have a favorite gun shop that I've bought a bit from; I let them know I wanted one and he gave me dibs, so it was easy for me. It's a blessing if you find a good shop and buy enough that they appreciate you. Hope you find one soon! I'm sure you'll like it, I love mine and carry it alot!

Here in North Carolina they were released on a limited scale with the gun shops recieving one or two and they went quickly.
There are some on gunbroker.com for around $300 +/- plus shipping and $ for FFl.
However, do not know what the price will be when they resume production avter this "teaser" release.

I got mine from GunBroker.com. You have to bid, like eBay, but I got my LCP on the first try.
I just looked and there were about 10 of them on sale.
Good luck, it's a great little gun!

I have an LCP on layaway at a local shop, retail price was $279.00.

I got mine from rugerlcp.com. It took me two months, but the company didn't charge my card until after it was shipped (pain in the ass because I used a debit card and had to keep that charge on my books).
It's sitting in my FFL dealer's shop waiting on my registration coupon so I can pick it up (two week wait).
Good luck. Can't wait to pick mine up.

Got my LCP, woo-hoo
Just picked up my new Ruger LCP last night. It has a fit & finish LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Kel-Tec P3AT ( I owned one for a short time).
Fits and draws really nicely from the pocket in a DeSantis Nemesis. I will post a review and pics sometime soon.
