Hey Guys,
I once read an article (this is several years ago) of a guy who carried a Ruger Bearcat as a BUG and a trail packing gun. Are there any bearcat owners on here? If so, what do you think of them for packing/trail guns? Post Pics! :medievals

Dont own one thinking on getting one would like to hear some opinions too ..
Sure wouldnt carry it for other than little hunting
I have one. It's a nice little gun but I wouldn't carry it. I bought it to have a single six to demonstate with in one of the classes I teach. If you want to carry a .22 I much prefer my Browing Buckmark. Way more fun to shoot as it is a semi-auto, higher capacity, and way faster to reload and unload.
As for trail carry when I'm in the backwoods I want something with some power. I'm not trying to protect myself from squirrels. Bears are more to be feared so I pack a .44 Magnum.
