Got my gun today. A Rossi 462 with 2" barrel. 6 rounds of .357 just a little bigger than a J frame. Bought the gun a box of 129 gr .38 +p JHP, a box of 125 gr .357, 2 speed loaders, and a holster for $488. Meets all my requirements and gives me enough left over for some range time tomorrow. Thanks for everyones help.

I carry one of those Rossi's EDC and have had 0 problems...

someone recommended colt agent size holsters as they are larger than a J frame and smaller than a K frame...
I really like the speer gold dot short barrel ammo in mine...

I'd go with the Ruger SP101 in 357 mag. I love mine and built like a tank. I pocket carry it in a Galco Pocket Holster.
