Picked up two new pieces
Figured I would head out to the gun show this past weekend. I ended up picking up a XD compact .45 at the show and a Ruger LCP from a local dealer. I got about 100 rounds through each so far and love both of them. My XD will be my full time carry once I recieve my permit (waiting is killing me) and my new M-tac that I ordered Tuesday.

Congrats! But it's not all wasted time while you're waiting. When your M-Tac arrives, you can start working on your carry position and wardrobe. Get used to presenting from different positions, such as in the car. Spend the range time to hone your technique. And download the Wal-Mart tactical map so you'll be ready for a nacho mission when your permit arrives!
Cheers,
Rod

Congrats on your "pieces", It looks like the new Ruger 380 is becoming very popular. I think I might end up getting that Ruger when I go purchase my Glock 20 or XD-9.

Lucky you...it seems that in my county(Charleston), the Rugers are on back order. Where did you get yours?

The Superfly is a very good choice for the LCP. I have a Nemesis and another by Jagwear that's in the same configuration. You might also look at the Desantis Magpacker for pocket carrying an extra mag. It's made of the same material as the Nemesis or Superfly.
