Advice to those with multi caliber guns (HK P2K, Sig 229)
If your gun was shipped in 40 you'll find that the fixed sights are geared for the 165 grain bullet. Put the 357 Sig barrel in and you will find the bullet strikes about 5 inches low.
If your gun was shipped in 357 Sig and you have fixed sights yu'll find the opposite.
MMC is now making adjustable combat sights for both of these weapons.
I have them on a USP9mm and they are aces.

I actually got a great deal on a 229 for that very reason.....Previous owner said it shot low (.357sig)......I've already fixed it!

This may be a dumb question but why would it shoot different?

different caliber, means different bullet weights. 40 is 155 grain and up, Sig 357 is 125 grain.

+ speed coming out of barrel and position of barrel due to recoil.
Same issues happen in .22lr/.22mag & .357/9mm.

That suddenly explains why my NAA mini shoots like crap with the .22lr cylinder. Thanks!

My 229 shoots low with both .40cal and 9mm. I suspect because both barrels are aftermarket.
