    S&W Sigma 9VE

I thought I'd post some info on this weapon. I don't see too many threads or posts about S&W's econo best-seller. I use my Sigma for OWB or IWB in all weather. It is a good solid pistol, and the price is right so that if it were ever lost or stolen, i wouldn't fret too much. I have over 1000 rounds through it, never a hiccup, and i know S&W's customer service is always there should anything ever go wrong with it. Any other sigma owners/users out there?

A pic of one of my 9VEs:

Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

My friend has the .40, it really is a reliable gun. The "firm" trigger gives you plenty of practice for double action revolvers, and you can't beat the deal on the mags if that's still going on. They got a really bad rap before the VE version had come out, but the VE models are 100% from what I've seen.

    I've got two Sigmas...a 9mm and a .40

They have both been great...NO malfunctions of any kind at all! I got both when they had the $50 rebate, and two free mags!

I have the 40 and the wife has the 9mm. We must have put over 1500 rounds each without a problem. We love the guns and the price is just right.

Where did you get your OWB holster? One drawback to owning the SW40VE is I have had a hard time finding a holster. I have a DeSantis for IWB, but want a nice OWB that works well for this pistol.

Also if anyone wants to "fix" the trigger pull, Google Sigma Trigger Job and you'll find it is very easy to do, see my pics. Simply remove the large outer spring and it is now about 1/2 the required pull to fire.

I also find it REAL funny that this pistol almost looks exactly like a G17 when you break it down (wonder why S&W got sued).

fobus makes a couple of holsters that fit the sigmas perfectly; i have a paddle holster for my 9mm. and they're cheap, to boot.

I have a 9 mm that I 've shot several thousand rounds through it with no issues.
This pistol been good handgun to start personal defense with.In fact, this is
my first auto that I carried with any regularity.
