I have three Glocks right now... two have stock sights, and one has stock night sights... personally, I have never had any issues with any of my stock sights on any of my handguns. I think I'm too busy trying to get more proficient at shooting.

I hate the stock sights. "Dot in the box" has never worked for me.

I replace mine with 3-dots (Trijicons) as soon as I buy them.

i got several glocks (8 total in different cals) and some have the factory sights,,,and the other have night sights. i like the factory sights. nothing wrong with them. the glocks with the night sights came with them. i don't think i have purchase any night sights to replace the factory sights on my glocks. i can tell you when it hits the fan in the dark the night sights are hard to pickup. come to thing about it any sights are hard to pickup when it hit the fan,,,no matter day or night. it comes down to point and shoot.

TN_MIKE, if you like the standard box/dot configuration of the factory Glock sights but want tritium, check this out:

P-T Night Sights - Glock: Self-Illuminated Tritium Sights

You'll want the G13BOX sights, 16th on the list under Glock sights. The front sight is a standard dot, while the rear sight is made of three tritium bars that form a "box" similar to the factory Glock sights.

I never hated the standard Glock sights and was able to hit with them OK but I find them very slow. For me anything on the rear sight takes away from my concentration on the front sight and slows me down.

I also like the XS Big Dot on my Carry and Competition Glocks. When you shoot the XS correctly you pay very little attention to the rear sight and just shoot the dot. I know some folks don't believe it but they are very accurate for anything but Bullseye competition maybe.

I normally shoot and compete out to about 30/35 yards and I just put the big Dot on the spot and press the trigger.

I've come to really like the TFO's with yellow dot rear and green dot front sights. The contrast provides one more level of assurance you're focusing on the correct sight; which is important in low-light, fast moving situations.

Thanks BoomStick! This sounds like exactly what I would want in a night sight set up. This is great.

    Thanks again!

I think they are okay. Hard to be really accurate with them, but definitely good enough for defensive purposes.

I like my night sights though.

Stock works fine for me on two Glocks, but I think I'll be putting Nights on the G19.

I think they are fine. Bersa uses them some on their handguns too I've noticed.

Factory fixed sights work just fine for me. Not a fan of any adjustable sights for pistols and you're right, something about the U in the back and the dot up front that is easy to find.
