SIG-Sauer P230 JP
Some time ago I read that the Minebea Corporation was manufactured a SIG-Sauer P230 JP (Japanese Police?), a fully licensed adaptation of the P230, reportedly chambered for 9 x 19 mm (Parabellum) rounds, and fitted with a magazine of 8+1 capacity.
Anyone know the status of this weapon?
I thought the Japanese Police version of the P230 was in .32 ACP?
I think it very doubtfull the P230 or 232 will be made in 9X19mm Luger. There was a small number of P230s made in the 9X18 Police caliber, (NOT the Makarov round). Perhaps you are thinking of that. Here's a link to some info...

That's about all that isn't repetitive.
Thought someone in this esteemed group could point me to more.
Your first link there indicates that the gun in question does not exist. I think that is correct.
The Japan police versions are notable for their lanyard loop and safety lever (not found on a normal P230) and all I have ever seen are in .32 acp.
