Ahhhhhhhhh NICE gun ya got coming there! I've enjoyed the Detonics guns for quite a long time. I had a Combat Master, in the Mk V version. I've had a couple of the others as well.......great cary guns, and VERY reliable too!
Try the 185 Gr JHP and 230 Gr JHP Federals in it

Cool. Ive never heard of Detonics before. The grip looks bigger that my Springfield, from the pics I saw. I really like that, cause I have long fingers.

I owned one of the original "Way Back When" Detonics pistols.
It was a great firearm. Very reliable and mine was amazingly accurate for a chopped .45 ~ I need to see if I can locate an old receipt and find out exactly how much $$ I paid for that firearm back then.

ya never heard of the Detonics before? They were around in the mid 70s and went for quite a while. Then they went under (the Seattle Wa guns were the early lones and very desireable too
I traded a Stainless Mk5 for a H&K PSP (the H&K was an even money swap, as the PSP sold for 357.00 at that time in 1980) I still have that PSP too

Back in 80's a guy at my then club had one and it was a fascinating piece. For me it was probably the first real compact I had come across. Really wouldn't mind having one either.
