Brand, spakin' new Detonics USA Combat Master is on the way from Impact Guns. Have only been here a short while, but would I be correct in my assumption that a certain apelike member here will have the sweats over this post?

Ahhhhhhhhh NICE gun ya got coming there! I've enjoyed the Detonics guns for quite a long time. I had a Combat Master, in the Mk V version. I've had a couple of the others as well.......great cary guns, and VERY reliable too!
Try the 185 Gr JHP and 230 Gr JHP Federals in it

ya never heard of the Detonics before? They were around in the mid 70s and went for quite a while. Then they went under (the Seattle Wa guns were the early lones and very desireable too
I traded a Stainless Mk5 for a H&K PSP (the H&K was an even money swap, as the PSP sold for 357.00 at that time in 1980) I still have that PSP too

Another fossil here - more so than Class3 too!!!
Back in 80's a guy at my then club had one and it was a fascinating piece. For me it was probably the first real compact I had come across. Really wouldn't mind having one either.
Definitely Jon - mucho feedback later!

Now Chris..you shouldn't have said that, as I can put my greedy fingers on 3 of those Detonics guns....(1 blue Mk4 and 2 stainless Mk 5s)...and you know where

The prices Ive found for the older ones are between $400-$800 on Guns America Classified. It would be cool if I could fondle one of these bad boys
