    Quick tip: Bersas DO NOT like aftermarket magazines!

    You need to stick with buying Bersa factory mags. This guy is one of the BEST ONLINE to deal with --> ~ YourGunParts.com ~. The 7 and 9 round mags will fit in the BT 380; but the 8 round mag is only for the CC version.

    The only drawback to bersa's are the avalibility of their mags

    This is very good to know. The wife and I are going to the gun shop tomorrow to "try on" some guns for fit. She is getting a new carry gun for her birthday and i was considering the Bersa Thunder.

    Just PLEASE don't buy after market mags for your BERSAs. They hate them! Been there done that!

    thanks. yes, I've been warned away from the aftermarket magazines. Seen plenty of bad reviews and good advise from the people here.

    I'm working on a deal now to get some actual bersa mags from a fellow member. It's a great community to get help like this.

    thunder and cc mags

    My wife has the 380CC and I recently purchased the Thunder 380. The mags are the same size and the CC mags fit in the Thunder. Not sure if it will fire but the only difference I see is the Thunder mag has the finger groove on the bottom. Not sure if the CC has a different spring in it or not.

    Per the nice folks at Bersatalk.com...
    * The Thunder380 mags will jam partway though the stack;
    * The finger-hook thingy is thicker than the standard 'foot', so if you put one on your 380CC mag, you'll lose one round of capacity;
    * To get a finger-hook thingy without losing a round you need to either mill out part of the plastic, or glue one onto the bottom of the existing foot.

    I'm quite pleased with mine (which will likely become my daughter's), but sure wish it had better sights. I realize that this is a belly gun, so sights are a bit unlikely to be used, but would love some feedback if anyone has tried painting them, for instance.

    I believe the correct term is "finger-hook 'doo-dah'".

    ps. had My Bersa Thunder Plus a week now. Really like it... so far.
