I do feel bad for you, JD, seeing how you have so few guns...

FYI - Gander Mountain (of all places) in York PA had a P225 "Montage Suisse" for $299. Same price as the P6's, but it's a true P225.

The Montage Suisse was a Swiss police trade-in, similar to the W German P6's. My understanding is that it was assembled in Switzerland from W German parts.

How's it different than the P6. Well, the hammer is a standard P225 hammer (no drop indicator notch). Also, the trigger is nice, smooth, and light. Definitely the typical P-series trigger, and not the heavy P6 one. Never fired a P6, but some reports are that the springs should be replaced to clean up the trigger a bit.

The drop indicator notch for the P6 hammer is a myth. This video will tell you the real story behind the reason for the P6 Hammer notch, watch the whole video.
