If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
You can't go wrong with an XD. It's a great weapon no matter what caliber.
The XD9 Service (4") was the first gun I ever bought, and is still my favorite.
It just feels great in my hand, unlike the Glock 19 which it is similiar to.

I have an XD40 and XD9 subcompact. I love the 40, it's a great gun.
I've got an XD-M, XD45, and XD9SC. I recently sold an XD40 to get the XD-M, but not for lack of reliability. All of them have been exceptionally reliable and have made me an XD buyer over any other single type of handgun, although I own other brands and like the ones I own very well.
I don't know what it is, I really like the feel of this gun in my hand, Ive always beena large caliber gun type of guy, but this gun feels like it was made for my hand..it just feels good. That's what almost made me pull the trigger. At $439.00 is that a good deal for a new XD9? Let me know guys, I may go and drop the axe on Saturday...
I don't try anything...I just do it!
I have the xdsc in 9mm. It comes with xd gear. The holster mag pouch and loader case and lock and all the goodies. Mine came with the 10 and 16 round magazines. A bit wide for such a small gun but still conceals well Iwb. And its a
good shooter. Sixgun
