I joined the 1911 family today

After looking around online and shopping the local gun stores in my area I have finally joined the 1911 family today. I purchased a Para-Ordnance PX745S TD This is a full size 5" Tactical Duty SSP 8+1 capacity. I am anxious to get to the range.

    Way to go, J-man!

Get out there and make JMB proud! Nothing, and I mean, nothing, like a 1911.

Watch out though. When you're not on your guard, they multiply!!

Bienvenidos. They defiantly like to multiply. I have one and am itching for another.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

They will multiply anyway...doesn't matter if you are on your guard or not. If somebody ever develops a cure to the 1911 bug, he'll make millions. On second thought, I hope it never happens. Until then, be fruitful and multiply.

    Err... 1911 owners club.

Or is that 1911 breeders club?

gorgeous! hope it shoots like a charm. I've had my 4.25" Para CCW for a couple months now (a bit different i know, LDA vs. SA) , and i've never had any failure of any sort after about 400 rounds... looking forward to the range report.

J-Man... I'm surprised the pictures aren't more crisp! You'll have to work on that!

I got to hold it today when he brought it by the station. Very sweet gun. Nice crisp trigger break with no discernible creep!

We were already talking about modifications on it.

Congrats man... you got a winner there!

When do I get to shoot it? You were the second person to get to shoot my XD!

Nice pistola, welcome to the 1911 club, this will not be your 'last gun'.

    Stay armed...get a 1911...stay safe!
