    .357 MAG one handed?

Has anyone shot a .357 Mag one handed? I have shot both my Glock 20/21 one handed plenty of times and it was not bad at all.

Sure. Depending on the gun, it's not all that bad. At one point or another, I've shot every gun I own one handed including 44mags. Shooting a J-frame 2" 357 isn't a lot of fun, but it can definitely be done accurately. Shooting this one from my collection has proven to be the most punishing when shooting one handed, and yes, it's 357 mag.

I have shot full strength 357 one handed and out of a 4" or longer barrel with the right grips aren't bad

Yep, shot a Model 19 plenty of times one-handed. .44 mag one-handed w/wooden grips is a bit punishing.

    Sure, but why?

It's good to practice one handed shooting as well as weak handed.......just in case. But the bottom line is, you'll be more accurate and better able to control any handgun when you grab it with both hands!

I've shot my 2" Rossi .357 one handed plenty of times, if the grip on the weapon is good, its not too bad.

I shoot my Ruger GP-100 one handed, no problem. My Ruger Speed Six snubby is managable one handed, but not really pleasant to shoot that way

Yep, but only to verify I could in the event that I had to. Not any fun at all.

You should learn to shoot your carry firearm with only your strong side hand as well as your support side hand.

If you have real problems doing that then switch to .38 Spl or 38 Spl+P and carry that.

Sure, all the time. It's not that bad with a decently heavy gun. It's quite fun, actually. I certainly wouldn't do it with a scandium Jframe... more than once.

Uh, what do you mean 2 hands ???? I've always shot them 1 handed. I hardly ever shoot anything 2 handed. ... messes up my aim.
