    LCP grip cushion

I looked locally for a Uncle Mike's slip on grip (no luck) but settled for a Hogue slip on junior grip with some trimming on the bottom. To eliminate some of the sting from shooting glued a small rectangular piece of dense craft foam on the backstrap and slipped the grip on. Picture of the grip in a homemade wallet holster. Happy independence day.

Looks like a good set up to me! Nice job on the homemade holster!

looks good to me...if you find you dont care for that set up, I strongly suggest the brooks tactical "a-grip" I have it on my kel-tec p3at and I am extremely pleased. Downside is $$$. You will have to spend a little more than on a slip-on but i say its worth it.

MAN, you guys are taking pretty drastic measures. Is the recoil really THAT bad?

I don't consider $25 too terribly drastic. It helps me feel a bit more secure when holding the weapon and firing therefore, IMO, well worth it.

OK. If it is about weapon control that is one thing. I thought it was to stock hands from bruising/aching.
