In an alloy frame I'd be careful...steel framed...I don't see a problem.

I've shot +P in my Pro Carry II, and currently carry Remington Golden Saber +P. It functions well, but I don't think I'll give-up my soft handloads for range sessions and IDPA. It's a little like Habenero sauce, I won't eat it for every meal, but I've got some on-hand when I need a little spice.
