Never had a problem with the Paras, my only advice with Para is to go with a stainless finish, and buy the single stacks unless you specifically want the double stack as the double stack mags run about $50.00 and the Parakote finish on both the Parakoted guns I had didn't hold up for squat.

They are proud of the trigger pull on the LDA's. And rightfully so!

They are smooth as glass, with absolutely no discernible creep at all. And that's right out of the box!

Like JD, I prefer single action cocked and locked (P-12 owner), but +1 on the LDA trigger pull.

I own 3 Para's. They have all been good guns. One has the LDA. It is a great trigger but having been used to 1911s I prefer the single action models.

I have always said if I could get a Glock that fit my hand like a Kahr P9, and had a trigger pull like a Para LDA. I would need no other CCW weapon ever. Not to say I wouldn't want to but some more for good ol Sand G. The Trigger on the LDA is very nice and prob one of the finest DA trigger systems on the market.

Never had one of the LDA triggers myself, but I did get to shoot my friend's Carry 9 and have to say it was one sweet trigger. Still don't know why he got rid of that gun.

With that said, if you don't heed JD's advice and decide to get one in their guns with a black finish, make sure you buy plenty of these because you're going to need them. Their black finish is the worst I've ever seen on a quality firearm as far as durability. Three times in and out of the holster and my NiteHawg's finish was already gone from the front of the slide, the slide release and the trigger guard.

I rented one that was brutal. Besides being a jam-o-matic (probably wasn't cleaned often), the trigger did not work for me. Much too long of a trigger pull.
