Mine has about 2000 rounds though it without any problems. The only thing I didn't like was the grips just changed them, now it good to go.

It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Mine is great, but like already stated, the grips are not the best.

I haven't had any problems with mine. I swapped out the grips, the trigger for a 10-8 long and changed the MSH for a Smith and Alexander arched MSH with magwell.

MSRP on taurususa.com is showing $719.00, but last year I paid $525.00 out the door for mine.

I love mine! I paid $475 for it in February. Bud's has them for $509. Mine does NOT like mil-spec mags!

I just bought one. Two range trips and it's flawless. Accurate too.

They come with nice hardwood grips now, and the plastics are thrown in too.

Got mine for $479 from Sportsmans Warehouse. Put it to the test at a 500+ rd 1 day class. Not a single problem...only complaints I have seen is the finish is not all that robust.

I found a stainless PT1911 at a gun dealer here, they wanted 765 dollars for it. I could buy a Springfield Loaded model for not too much more.

I have the SS pt1911. Have put 1500+ rounds through it with out a hiccup, first 500 in one day with out cleaning it. I also carry it as one of my CC weapons. And yes changed out the grips.
