    Alumagrips - Home

I've seen quite a few 1911's sporting alumagrips. On my short list of pistols to buy is a Dan Wesson CBOB. When I get one, it will sport Deluxe Tactical Thin Lightweight Alumagrips.

    Similar to these:

I also know that people are fond of Esmeralda's grips.

Others yet go for VZ grips.

    I'll second, Esmeralda. I just received these from her today;

    Go to "Related Links" above...
    Find "Gun Parts & Accessories"...
    Fifth site down...Esmeralda's Grips...

I've purchased 4 sets from her so far, expensive but well made and unique...check her out...give her a call if you have any questions.

Got some very nice grips from this seller on eBay. He has grips for both full size and officers models.

The grips I currently have on my 1911 are from Ahrends and I love them.

Hakan Pek makes incredible grips. That's what my Springfield wears:

    Here's his site: http://www.imageseek.com/hakan/

I've got two sets for my Nighthawk on order with Craig Spegel. He doesn't have a website as he prefers to speak with customers directly but you can see (and order) some of his grips at Lightning Arms: Lightning Arms Sports

To contact him directly (or to place a custom order):

I use thin Alumagrips on my every-day-carry handgun and am very pleased with them.

As Maclean3 mentioned, Craig Spegel's grips are outstanding. I have a set of his in cocobolo on my Hi-Power, and the fit and feel are just incredible. Lightning Arms Sports are great folks to deal with and should have a good selection in stock. If you want something custom from Craig, it will likely be a bit of a wait.

I also have a set of shed elk antler grips from Antler Crafts of Oregon. I like them a lot, but switched to the Alumagrips because of the ultra-thin profile.
    Cheers,
    Rod

    Don't forget Wicked Grips.

Both of the pairs of grips on these 1911s are from Wicked Grips.

GunGrips.net . They will give you a good selection (including Alumagrips), good price, good service and will engrave just about anything you want on them.
