I have a Tanfoglio BTA 90 9mm that I purchased, I believe in the late 80s to early 90s. Since I got my CCW, I have been looking at this as a carry option. In the past, it has been a reliable shooter, but I have been doing a lot of practice with this gun lately, shooting Winchester white box and have had it fail to feed the next round a couple of times. It seems to occur on the last few rounds from the magazine. This leads me to suspect that the magazine spring might be getting weak. In the past, I never had any problems, even shooting handloads which were mid range in the recommended powder charges. Anyone have any suggestions?
try a different magazine,if it's that old mag spring is probably weak and a carry gun needs more than 1 mag besides being 100%
