    Still like Taurus

Since I first got my Michigan CCW, I've owned 3 .45s. The first was a Firestorm Gov't model (full size 1911) that I carried once I fixed all the problems (two, FTFs, and loose screws, in the gun, not the operator. ) The screws just needed a little loctite, the FTFs took a dremel tool and some buffing.

Second .45 was a Para-Ordnance P13.45. I sold the Firestorm and a rifle I rarely used to pay for the Para. It worked fine. But then when my wife lost her job, and became disabled, we needed money, so I sold the P13.45 for $200.00 and a .357 magnum.

Last week, I bought a used Firestorm Compact Duo-Tone (looks like a Commander sized 1911 picture is here. )

So, when I'm not carrying my Taurus PT-92, or my Taurus PT-911, then I carry the Firestorm. But in either case, I ALSO carry my Taurus Model 617B 7 shot .357 magnum.

In my case, I've discovered Taurus has excellent customer service.

    Taurus Millenium Pro PT-145.

Over 1300 rounds, not a single failure of any kind, and still going strong.

    Take care.

I always carry a .45. Recently either a Kimber Tactial Ultra II or a fullsize Colt Gold Cup Series 80, sometimes both.

Both are loaded with 230gr Federal Hydro-Shocks

I have been favoring the Kimber since when my son comes home from school he goes for the Para...makes life easier not battling for one of the other.

I have only used Crimson Trace lasers, I heard the Lasermax pulses every three seconds, is this true and how do you like it?

    Kimber

I carry a Kimber ultra carry II with 185 gr corbon HP's in wilson combar +1 mags. They reside in a shoulder rig, which I am growing fond of, and is another thread.I have soft molded hogue grips with finger grooves.
I used to carry a variety of guns, but this one seems to have made me forget the others.
