The Taurus 24/7 PRO
This looks like it would be a good carry pistol with the new trigger mechanism allowing a second double action pull on a misfire. I like Taurus products, but have heard the 24/7 (not the pro which hasn't hit the market yet) has a "fair" trigger, but good accuracy and reliability. Since the pistol is basically the same, what do you think?

Long trigger pull on the gun. They do sell at the store, but the Millinium is a good choice as well, in 9MM. The Two-tone guns sell much better (as they are more durable) than the all blue ones.. Price point is a factor as well, incase you don't have the funds for a more expensive weapon.

I've shot one. Seems like a sound pistol and it does have a long trigger reset. I like my XD better but then again the XD costs more, so at its price point it's definitely an attractive option.

CDNN is selling the 9mm version of the 24/7 for $299.99 with two 17-round magazines. That's pretty cheap! If it wasn't that I have my sights on a 9mm Beretta Px4 Storm, I'd be placing an order with CDNN.

I lost faith in my PT140 after it Kb'ed on me. Not sure if I would trust a new design gun from Taurus unless it has been around for a few years and had reliable reputation. the bluing on my PT wasn't very good for CCW, as the slide wore quickly along the edges and the extractor actually showed some pitting.

We have one that's been sitting on the shelf for the price of 325.00.....doesn't seem to generate interest as much as the 9mm
-
That sort of makes sense though... generally if your gun budget is this low, 9mm is an attractive caliber because of the price factor.

TerryG,
The wife has a PT111 Millenium...it fits her hand well shoots anything we've put in it. No failures of any sort so far (about 500 rounds) and the trigger pull is sorta long, but smooth and breaks nice. If the 24/7 Pro is anything like the PT111, you'll like it as well. The PT111 is a good value...let us know what you think about the 24/7 Pro.
