My next gun will be Sig Sauer 1911. I want .45ACP (are all Sig 1911's .45ACP?). I currently carry Glock 30 SF strongside so I would like to keep same approximate dimensions. Can I get some recommendations?

If I were accustomed to carrying a G30 and were getting a Sig 1911 for carry, I'd probably go with this one:

This gun has a 4.25 inch barrel and aluminum frame, weighing 30 ounces empty. It has Novak night sights and thin wood grip panels, along with an "Officers" length grip that takes a 7 round magazine. The hardest part of a 1911 to conceal is the long grip with a sharp corner, so the Officers length is easier to conceal than the government length.
This gun is light weight enough to be carryable all day, but heavy enough to handle .45 recoil easily. I'd carry it either IWB or OWB depending on your personal preference and wardrobe.
One of my EDC's is a SIG Revolution Carry (commander style). In my opinion, it is one of the most well-made pistols out-of-the-box. Is it perfect? No. Would I change anything about it? Yes. For the money, I think it's an excellent value. It is also one of the most accurate handguns I have. I do not have any problems concealing it in an MTAC.
I would also look into the Revolution C3. Very concealable and one of the best looking pistols that have ever seen.
