Yep, that's a deal!

I just took possession of a M64-2, 2" gun from a cop in NYC. He included a DeSantis holster in the deal of a lifetime...$175 for all. The trigger is very smooth. I need to play the lottery now.
And in the holster:

You stole that !! from a cop, no less
$175 = taken from thug off street during arrest.
Just kidding. That is a heck of a deal. Nice find.
Such a wonderful concealed carry handgun! What a price! Good for you!

Wow, a 1970 price in 2008 for a very nice revolver and holster. Stole is a nice word for this deal.

Nice find at an enviable price.

Awesome deal. I have to admit, I kind of hate you a little now.
Very little though. Good find!
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

I'm drooling. I just can't figure out if it's over the price you paid, or the gun itself.
Thanks guys. I had offered to buy it about a year ago and he declined. He contacted me a couple months ago and offered it to me for the price I paid and generously included the holster.
As far as the officer not being gun savvy, that's not true. He trains lots of folks in shooting and combatives skills in this and other countries and likely has a good idea what things are worth. I believe he is a genuinely good person and seems to be motivated by things other than money.
I am humbled by his kindness.
(and the trigger is great!!)
What a sweet deal! My brother is like that. He can find a deal anywhere. He once bought a Bushmaster patrolman rifle with 6 30 rd mag and case for like $600. Wish I had that luck!

Great find. I want one myself because I love K-frame size guns.
