I had retired my PPK for a Glock 26, now I switched for quite a while for a P 99C, more comfortable to carry with its angled slide that does not cover the target area as much as the glock and the ergonomy of the grip fits my hand better, accuracy being equal and using the trigger finger to press magazine locking lever is faster than moving the pistol in hand and pressing.

Wow! Lots of pics!
Very nice. Glad it works well for you.
One word of caution: You might be well-advised to obscure the weapon's serial number in the pictures you post on-line. Such a thing as providing too much info.

Sweet! Great pics.
One man with a gun can control 100 without one.
Yup, thats a P99 alright...
So, whats the carry/possession laws like in France?

Once you get use to magazine release you are golden. The triggers are the best triggers I've ever seen on a pistol period !
I have a P99C and love it. It fits my hand like a glovs. I carry it in a K&D Cochise Defender and it is a sweet combo.

The Walther P99c QA is one of the handful of really great carry pistols. I like everything about the little gun. I carry a HK P2000SK, but if it ever had to take a day off, the P99c is the one I'd choose. It even fits in the same holster as the HK. Great pics Edmond.
Nice pictures and firearm. I've always been intrigued by the Walther P99 however the M&P suits me well.
thats gonna be my next purchase,,like it ,,how are the gun laws over there in france anyways ?

I am the only one who thinks the muzzle looks like a smaller version of the Desert Eagle? I am liking the triangular slide config. Wish there was one local I could handle. What do they run?

Must start by stating I like Glocks. Now that is out of the way.
P99C shoots great. Wife has one. She considered the Glock, Beretta, S & W J-frame, M&P, Bersa, and a Taurus. The P99C fit both our very different sized hands well. She loves it. Lot of people interested in it when she shoots (instrustors and police have asked to shoot).
The Glock subcompact (9mm) with finger / pinky mag extender pinched her finger twice. Gunsmith at the range said a lot of women mentioned this pinch from Glocks. So she was done with the Glock. The extender for the P99C is more flush. I don't think Glock makes a factory finger / pinky extender. Walther's is factory. Could be the issue.
Only thing I can say I don't like is the magazine, a little hard to reload with. I cut myself putting rounds in the metal mag. I like the Glock (regardless of caliber) magazines (never loaded a 10mm or .45 GAP).
