    New glock 30 for me...

So I've made my second glock purchase in about a weeks time.. A Glock 30 that was 'USED' but I honestly don't think it was fired more than a handful of times. Practically no wear, there was no powder residue anywhere to be found after doing a full detail strip. Absolutely no complaints for being under about 380 out the door, with two magazines and the glock case. Guess what they say is true, you can't have just one. (Almost went today to pick up a LEO trade in but said no that the money should go towards a good safe first.)

Anyway, only had time to shoot 60 rds today as I had to go into the office and work a full 8+ hr day. :(

But those 60 rds affirm that I sure do like this little hand cannon. No idea how it handles the recoil so well but it's just a thing of beauty. Need to figure out what to do about the trigger as it is just not great yet. This will be my EDC piece so I'm open to recommendations of what you would/wouldn't do to an EDC.

Pictures to follow when I can find my camera and when it's not lights out.

Congrats on the new brick. Uh, Glock.

My next indulgence is gonna be the 30. Sadly, I've already blown all my gun money for the month.

I picked up a 30SF a couple months ago. Most accurate Glock I've ever had. It's also one of the easiest shooting .45s I've owned. Congrats on the new shooter.

I gotta say I'm looking at the G-30 or G-30SF with eyes of desire.

Too many darn guns out there I'd love to have!

Replace the target trigger with the smooth face G17 version,Tritium front sight /stock rear,NY1 olive trigger spring with the stock connector, and you have my idea of the perfect carry pistol!

Sounds like you got a good deal!

I had a Glock 30 for several years. It shot flawlessly and very accurate. I never got used to the safety on the trigger so I traded it in on a Para Ord 12.45 that has many of the 1911 style safeties that I am accustomed to, being a 1911 person. I often think about that G30 though.

The Glock 30 is a the top of my list for my first carry gun. I saw the 30SF advertised in one of my magazines. Is there much of a difference between the 30 and the 30SF?
