    Handling a M&P 9mm

I'm new to the M&P game, but like what I see and hear on the net about them.

Fondled a M&P 9mm yesterday. It had the mag disconnect.

Ergonomics were spot on for me.felt and pointed much like a
    fat gripped, very light CZ75.

Trigger: seemed to have some empty airspace before the take up, but the
trigger was light and smoooth without being gritty.

Not as nice as the Compact 9 at Cabela's in Idaho.

Nothing that a few hundred rounds wouldn't take care of, I'm sure.

    I'm waiting for this one:
    Smith & Wesson M&P9 - JG

S&W has had it in their catalog all this year. I asked one of our local dealers about it and he checked on it recently. S&W says they are "shipping" -- but we still haven't seen one yet!

Yes, my wife spotted that one in the catalog, too.

She will now be asking about a pink grip insert for her Compact.

As a shooter for Glock, miss Julie attracted a lot of females to the
sport, but I think she is a major Sales attraction now that she is
at S&W. If you can understand what I'm saying here.
Great shot, but also a great sales asset to a fine company.

I do hope you can get the gun and report back on it.
