Grip Extender question
I saw a link to a grip extender in a thread about holsters. I have a Glock 27. This extender does not add a round or extra finger. It simply extends from the grip so that your finger has something to "hook" on to when you draw and to help sweep the mag out when you reload. The website link is a company that only makes this item. I can not find this thread or link for anything. Can someone help me out.

I should say that what you are looking for is a magazine floorplate replacement

Here's another option. It doesn't give you a place to rest your pinky finger, but it does give you something to hook on for the draw.

Thanks LurkMastR. That's the one. A couple guys I work with have it and they love it. Just couldn't get a hold of anyone when I had the question.

Google "Pierce mag extensions" I think you will find what you want.

GLOCK actually makes them too, but stick with Pierce. Schrer are pretty bad. I would not go with the basepads that add capacity--the extra depth makes them susceptible to "speed unloads" if you treat them roughly (I wish I had video of it--it's impressive). If you want to extend capacity, go with Arrendondo +2, +3, +4 or +5s. Expensive, but solid. Dawson also makes them.
You can get them at the above, MidwayUSA.com, Shootersconnection.com, TopGLOCK.com, Brownells--they are common and cheap! Google up "Glock base pad" and you'll be stunned at the options.

I like the Gap finger ext. and think it is a concept that should have been here from the beginning. The other extensions just make a G19 size pistol out of the G26... which seems to counter the sub-compacts original purpose.
Glock 19/FEG/FM HiPowers/Keltec P32 for me. When I can't use my 870,N98 or Marlin .30-30 of course...
