Well, with gas prices and all, I wanted to make the trip worth while!

Funny, my wife was not buying into any of these lines. I headed east one morning last week to pick up a new hunting rifle and there I spotted her on display. A brand new S&W 317 snubbie. I just had to pick her up and bring her home.

With ammo prices always going up, and wanting another option for practice, the 317 in 22 long rifle is awesome. I took it to the range over the weekend and had a bunch of fun. With 38 prices always going up, it "may" pay for itself in time as a practice alternative to my 637.

Just kidding about the wife, sort of. She said she knew better than to let me go alone.

Sounds like you were lucky, It didn't come with a few free nights on the couch.
