I would expect the Para to do OK but will hope you can report good function from the Springer - ya know - real small .45's and all that!!
I'm giving one to my brother in law for Christmas.

Yer telling me. Try getting a holster for a HK USP back in '93. For LH. tooka lmost a year to get 1. I picked up my SA Champion because it came with the Ambi safety. Guess Kimber didn't get my money because of their options avalible. Nice looking .45's.

My bad, let us know how they run. I have handled several compacs and have found the Commander length to be my favorite (as has QK)

    Thumbs up

NICE Toys ya got there Hank!!!
They'er lookin real good so far! Hope the Hawg, and the Springer work well for you.. Might want to try the Fed Premium 45s and the Hydra shoks for carry purposes.....
Just like Bumper and Bud, I have a couple guns coming too..
Don't stop there.. you might see a Kimber Ultra CDP in your travels....Ya may want to look into a meltdown treatment for the Springer..the edges are a bit sharp, but even a machinist's de-burring tool works well.. you can do it yourself and achieve great results!

I'll be trying both out this weekend and I'll report back on how they shoot. I'm going to a gun show tommorrow so it may be Sunday before I hit the range.

Aw C'mon HH, hurry up and shoot those 1911s. We want range reports! I've always thought a compact 1911 in 9mm would make a great carry weapon when the weight of a Gov't isn't practical. At one time SA had plans to release the UC in 9mm. I contacted them about a release date but it kept getting backed off, now it's not even listed on their site ... wish they'd reconsider.

Yea if SA had one in 9mm, I'd have gotten it, I'm sure it would have had ambi safeties!! Now I have to send mine in to have them installed, bummer!
