FINALLY! Red Dot for My NAA Mini

It took a while to find a good optic for my NAA Mini, but I finally did. Sure, the Tasco 40 mm red dot worked fine, but it was a little too big, even if it was more cost effective.

So I finally landed an Aimpoint Micro T-1. It was a perfect fit!

While the NAA mini does not accept a rail, measurements indicated the top strap was perfect for a 3/8" scope mount. So, I cut grooves into the each side of the strap to accept a scope mount. Not finding anything that was acceptable, I found out that Brownell's carried a 3/8" to weaver conversion rail. From there, my options opened up for optics.

NAA Mini Revolver, .22 lr, 1 1/8" barrel and tritium front sight $180
Aimpoint Micro T-1 Red Dot Optic $600
3/8" to Weaver Rail Conversion $25
Practicality of the union - nearly worthless

The optic is much better than the single overly large tritium front dot sight, but for a gun where sights aren't really all that useful...

It doesn't happen often, but I'm speechless.....

I'm suggesting a drop leg tactical holster to complete the package.

Is that available with a tripod?!

If you seriously did this, you're my hero.
Since my P32 was taken out of carry duty, I may have to make up an adapter for a cheap red dot. Not sure how well the polymer will hold, though.
