No, I fill the mag to capacity, and rack it, so I'm chambered.

A person can loose valuable seconds by having to chamber a round. I keep one in the pipe too...

As someone has pointed out on this forum before, carrying without one in the chamber is as effective as carrying a brick for self-defense. Besides, with a 6 round mag capacity, the extra round is an extra opportunity to defend myself. God bless, all!
