It followed me home mommy, can I keep it.....?

Well, it's been a while since I bought a new pistol. I was at The Gun Store today (that's the store's name), looking at their selection. I've bought all of my handguns from them, and I've always gotten a good deal. For a while now, I've wanted a new gun to replace my Glock 26. It's a fine gun, but I carry an XD 45 unless I can't wear a cover garment, in that case I've carried my G26 in a Nemesis pocket holster. I've wanted to move to a 45 caliber pocket gun, so today, I picked up a Glock 30SF. Nice gun, I plan to take it to the range this weekend to practice, then go back to The Gun Store to qualify with it so that I can add it to my CCW. I just ordered tonight some G21 magazines for reloads as well. My wonderful wife never complains when I bring home new guns, either.

I got mine just last friday. I really like it.. Question concerning it.

The magazine is 10+1. I have struggled and only managed 1 time to get than 10th bullet in that magazine.. Then the magazine did not load easily into the firearm. Do any of you have similar problems? Ive been using it as a 9+1 rather..

It came with 2 10 round magazines, and I loaded them last night. The first was no problem getting all 10 in, but the 2nd was a real problem. I tried for over an hour, both with and without the magazine loader. As hard as I tried, I just was not able to get that 10th round in that magazine. I ordered 4 G21 13 round magazines last night on line, and a couple ot the magazine extenders (these fit onto the magazine to give that extra pinky room). I figure that for my reloads, it doesn't have to look pretty, so I'll see how the extenders work, and decide if I want to use them. I may or may not use one for the magazine in the gun, as I usually carry my G26 in my pocket, and that's where I'll carry this one. It will depend on how it fits.

Yeah, it would be nice if Nevada was like that. But, we have to qualify with each gun, and it then has to be listed on the back of the permit. Some people have the whole license filled with the list of guns. This will make 6 on mine. We aren't restricted as to number, we just have to qualify. And given Nevada's rather easygoing approach to CCW in most other areas. I don't plan to complain.

Yep, she's really great. She doesn't mind the pistol grip shotgun by the bed, or the handguns around the house in various methods of concealment (cut out concealment book, and most recently a clock with a space for a hidden hand gun. She even gave me an ultrasonic gun cleaner for Christmas last year! I haven't been able to talk her into getting her own CCW, but at least I have her thinking about it. She's a musician, who leaves bars at 2am to go home. She's had pepper spray and a stun gun, but I didn't like her having to get that close to a BG, so I gave her a Taser C2 for Christmas last year. She's gone to the range with me once, and shot all of my hand guns, to get an idea what to expect should she need to use one when I'm not there. She likes the G26, and to a slightly lesser degree, the G19. Buying this gun lets me keep the G26 available for her here, and hopefully carry one day.

Dang it Squawker, no pictures and I still got a case of the wants for a Glock 30SF! I'm gonna tell my wife it's YOUR fault if I go and buy one!
