Before I left Wa, I had 9 1911's. Along the way I have traded with friends and coworkers and now I only have 4. I am looking at either the Smith you purchased or a Sig. I like them both; however, I met a detective who was in a running gun battle with a few offenders, with a Smith like yours and he said it was unreal how accurate it was even under the conditions. (Granted, I realize training and practice are a key factor but I have seen equipment fail when it was needed most. Hence, get what works!)
