Any Glock 23 Holster recomendatins, Thanks

    Hello everyone,

I ended up going with the glock 23 over the 27, I like the feel of the grip better. Thanks for all the suggestions and info to help me decide on what to purchse.

I welcome all suggestions on holsters. I normally ankle and belt carry(right side), but I am open to all options.

    Thanks again,

Welcome to the forum. I'd think this would be considered a double post........I may be mistaken, but you can find your original post on the matter here, and keep track of replies no matter what.

I carry a Glock 23 myself. The holster I carry in, open or concealed is the Blackhawk SERPA. I highly recommend it for security, as it is a Level II security holster. It is also very stable and has the ability to be a belt holster or my favorite version, the paddle. The hardware and attachments for both styles are included in the package with the holster.

Here is a picture my wife took of me with the Glock in the SERPA on after I came home the other night from the store.

You can't go wrong with one.

I have carried every way you can think of, but for me the IWB especially the very comfortable MTAC.

I carry my Glock23 strong side in one of my belt holsters. This is a tunnel loop design and conceals well at 3 and 4 O'clock.
I've attached a couple of photos.

There are endless options for the Glocks. There are also a lot of makers of really slick set ups right here on this forum, I'd try to support one of them if possible.

The key is to figure out how and where it works for you based on your style of dress and life style. IWB works best for me, because out of uniform, I tend to dress like a bum. If I'm not, I'm in a suit and a tuckable is needed. It just all depends on you.

Take a hard look at the Mtac by Comptac. I've found it to be the best all around for me in terms of comfort, security, concealability, accessability and can also be used tucked. High quality, great service and speedy delivery made Comptac my favorite holster maker.

Low wait time and reasonable price...Don Hume PCCH.
Little pricier, little more wait...I like the looks of UBG, and HBE, or Milt Sparks.

I don't know what price range you are looking for, but I only buy from this guy.

    Holsters - Secret Squirrel Leather

He has a great choice of exotic leathers. The holster you see called the road kill in Ostrich Leg is actually mine. I also have one in Cape Buffalo. They are great. They are pricey but they are 100% custom made. He will put what ever angel you want. I love the quaility and the comfort of his holsters.
