    New Colt Agent

I think Colt has finally provided me with my CCW solution. A few hundred rounds yesterday, (all types) and the little beast was flawless. It took about 20-30 rounds to get used to the gutter sights but was very accurate after that. I was easily getting 3-4" groups at 15 yards. Tear down and cleanup had a little learning curve as the disassembly is a little different from a full size 1911. Overall, although a little pricy, glad I made the investment.Very easy to conceal, comfortable to wear and the knockdown power I expect. If you get a chance, try one out,

How was the recoil when you were shooting it?

That's a fine looking sidearm you have there...similar to my Kimber Ultra.
    Accurate and easy to conceal...

It looks like the Colt Pony of a few years ago. Is it .45 or .380?

I have 6 Colt's and like the looks of this one. But, I have my Detonics for that size a .45 if i decide to carry it.

Surprisingly enough, it was really quite manageable. I also have an XD-9 sub-compact and they are about the same.

    It's .45 ACP.

    Slick little firearm.
I like the idea of a gutter sight on a self-defense carry firearm.
It's not there if you don't need it and it's there if you do.

    Thumbs up Sweeeet

That is a beauty. If I didn't have a Kimber Ultra Raptor II, I would be very tempted. No , I'm very tempted anyway. Please don't post any good range reports on that lil' honey!

Congrats on that pistol. I have shot one at the range and now saving up for one.

That's a nice pistol. It reminds me of the Kimber RCP.

What is the weight loaded? And what is the recommended recoil spring change round count?

Yes it is 7+1, unloaded weight is I think 19ish? I am out of town right now so can't look at my manual. It is an awesome gun.

I've got one, too. Put the Pearce grip thing on for the front strap.

Sweet, sweet shooter. Accurate, reliable, powerful, easy to carry, easy to shoot.

    It's a real winner, and I haven't heard a lot about them.

what really surprised me about mine was the recoil. WAY less than I expected. It's honestly just a hair less than my full size SA that I had. I wouldn't have believed that if I'd only heard it.
