    Ruger LCP

Well I looked all over my area till I finally found a Ruger LCP at Cabelas. I have to say so far I love this gun!!!! I see why everyone use to buy Kel-Tec's now. With a pocket holster this gun is so easy to carry and conceals great. I know a 380 auto is usually considered bare minimum to carry but this will probably be my main carry weapon now. I can't wait to get to the range and see what it can do.

Pics of the LCP can be found in these threads, there are other threads, also.

Basically, if you've seen one LCP, you've seen them all.

And yeah, I own one, too!

And I'll bet his looks just like mine, and Jimmy's, and the one you're gonna get, too.

Now if Ruger comes out with a two-toned version...

But hey, I didn't say the OP couldn't post pics.

Congrats! Now if Ruger would come out with a mountable belt clip like Kel-Tec has I might buy one! I use mine every day. I don need no steenking holster!

Well I took My LCP to the range today. I fired a little over 50 round threw it to get a feel for it. I fired both Federal American Eagle 95 grain fmj and Hornady 90 grain hp. I fired from 7 yards. If I do my part the Hornady will hit poa at this distance and stay within a 3 inch circle(Dumb me accidently left my target at the range). I have to say this trigger will take some getting use to.

Yes, the long trigger-pull is a little "different" when you're used to single-action pulls. My wife recently bought one and I helped her put 50 rounds through each magazine just to make sure it functioned properly, and to get used to the trigger. We both were pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to shoot accurately once you get the hang of the trigger. Not one hiccup in 150 rounds, so she now carries it in her pocket or purse. She got tired of waiting for the Kahr and is very happy with the Ruger, although she still totes a 1911 when clothing and circumstance allow it.

Hey, it looks just like mine. Great little sidearm. Quick, light, good stinger on her, carries well, good price, east teardown and reassembly, pretty accurate at 10-20 feet, quality built, (can you tell I really like it?).

I loved mine too. And then the rust came. I take of it like anything else, cleaned and lubed when needed. Always taken out of the leather holster at night and wiped down. The other morning I grabbed it and looked, the barrel, every INCH of it was rusted. Inside and out. Talk about a sick stomach.
