I am in the market for a sub-compact Glock......What do you think is the ideal glock for conceal carry and why. I am currently leaning towards the G27 (40cal). Is the sub-compact that much more conealable than the compact?
I have a 19 and a 26. I have custom leather for both, and I still think the 26 is way easier to conceal.
OD G19 || G26 || OD KT P3AT
I have both the 26 and the 27. I would go with the 26 for the following reasons.
1. Can carry more ammo
2. Recoil is significantly less
3. Cheaper ammo
4. Exactly same dimensions
5. 9mm is a world standard
6. Reserved for future brilliant epiphanies

I have found that the G19 is easier for me to conceal because of where the grips fall.
my g-27 conceals very well for me.

I traded (sold) my G23 and got a G27. Any of the subcompacts will conceal just about the same. You just have to decide which caliber and how many rounds. I love the 27. Loaded it up with a Lasermax internal laser, trigger job - and might treat it with a custom slide plate just for that personal touch.
Glock 36...Stay alive,carry a .45.
OH OH! I know this one!

What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
I have no problem concealing my 19 (or my 17 for that matter)...but I'd still like a 26 just for the heck of it.
go with the 26. It'll do everything the 27 will do but you'll have more ammo on board, less muzzle-flip, and it's cheaper to feed.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
I have the G-36 (.45) and the G-26 (9mm)...I like the 'bigger hole' option, so its the 36, it also has the better grip (for me)...OMO

I liked the 27 I had but I luv my 23. The reason is I shoot it much better. I gound my self putting pinky extentions on my 27 defeting the purpuse of a smaller gun. The 23 is still concealeble with mor accuracy.
G27 is easier than the G23 to conceal, at least for me. The grip is shorter. Barrel length really makes little difference, it is the grip that sticks up and out above the belt line.
