Kahr PM9
What a phenomenal day. I had ordered a Kahr PM9 diamonized black finish, from my FFl friend. He told me it would be in in about a week.He called yesterday and saidn it was in. I went over to pick it up and had cash to give him. He handed me the black plastic box with the gun in it and a card athat said DAD. I was really shicked since I had no reason for him to be giving me a card that says Dad on it. I opended up the card and realized that my son had paid for the gun as my birthday present (60 in 8 days) WOW!!!! Went and shot today, 150 rounds and love the weapon. Tried ever way in the world to test it. manually rack and fire, tactical reload, rapid fire, slide release at amg change, it worked flawlessly. I tend to shoot low with it but that is me not the gun. Kept all 150 rounds on a human (actually Zombie) silouette target, lots of stomach hits until I caught on. Great weapon......

How exciting, a new gun and someone else buy it for you as a gift! Congrats and enjoy your new pistol.

Great news to hear. I know so many who are still unsure of this gun as its history has been shaky. Would you be able to provide the serial number to compare to others? Continued success!!
Thankx.

Just make sure you don't provide the FULL serial number.

No serial number needed
, the PM9 is tried and true. I've been reading great reviews and praise from owners for more than 2 years now. Got mine last week, it is a quality piece, glad to have it in the collection!
Congrats on a great Son, and Happy Birthday!

I'm going to a gun show next week and will be looking to pick one of these up.

Second hundred rounds thru it and not one hiccup. Wow I love this gun. Light, short, thin and accurate. I am a short guy, 5' 5" and weigh about 160. Most every gun I have owned I was uncomfortable with except my KelTec P11 as far as concealability goes. This Kahr is just the ticket. Dissappears at the 4 O'clock position. And best yet it shoots great and so far as reliable as it can be. I will throw another 100 rounds thru it this week and then I will be sure.

My b-day is in 2 weeks and I've been hinting to my wife that I'd like a new gun. I don't think she'd buy it but she may approve the finances.
PM9 is on my short list since I fondled a bunch of them at the last gun show.

Another PM9 believer - Woohoo! I absolutely love mine. Goes with me everywhere I can take it, disappears in everything I wear, never has hiccuped, and I don't feel underprotected.
Congrats!

Would any of you who have PM9s and are familiar with the Glock 26 comment on the reliability and usability of the PM9 compared to the Glock?
