I had the itch to buy another handgun.

This morning I was out driving around, and decided to once again stop by my gun dealer. I just bought an AR-15 last Friday, and wasn't really looking to buy another gun, except maybe, just maybe fondle the G21SF again to see if I really want it. They had the one I wanted too, with the standard Glock rail. Turns out it still felt too thick for my hands. The guy behind the counter suggested an XD45. I've owned one before, so it wasn't new to me. Needless to say I walked out with a brand new XD45 Service model.

    When will this addiction end?

Marriage? Yep, marriage can certainly help with the gun buying addiction...

You know......I might have had my first XD45 years ago if they would have been an option to my G21. It's kind of like real estate. Location, location, and the old theory of 'right place/right time'.
Turns out it still felt too thick for my hands.
It took me owning the original G21 for three years before I figured things out as it sort of became my range gun or HD gun instead of my EDC gun. Same happened to my G30, but things work out well in the end, otherwise I might have never gotten my current P220. My Glock 45's have both been traded for more user friendly pistols in the 45acp. I was wondering how the new SF's were, but then again.....right place/right time for me. Although a self proclaimed Glockster, I'll continue to look elsewhere when it comes to the 45acp. Don't get me wrong....they are my EDC's in 9mm and 40S&W. Glad you figured out the best for you, and congratulations on your new XD45!

    Cool

Hmmm. Marriage is not a barrier here. Three of the four don't exist.

My constant buying and then selling a different gun after 6 months or so is wearing on my wife too..I think it is something of an illness..
How many can I legally sell in one year before i have to get a license?
