    I'd like to say this again: Glock 26!!!

    Most reliable and IMO best built small gun on the market.

    G 26. It will also use the mags for other 9mm Glocks. I have a couple of 15 round mags that I carry sometimes.

    Not sure it's 'best', but it's probably one of the most compact that fits your criteria: Kel Tec P11. Cheaper option, but the smallest I know of that can hold higher capacities (10 round standard, 12 round flush fit available, and accepts Smith and Wesson 59 Series fifteen round magazines).

    I think this fits your requirements anyway...what is a "d" configuration

    hi mag count, hi mags, reliable, ... similar size as PX4SC.... a Springfield XD9.

    You knocked out many others with the qualifications.

    Whatever feels and point best in YOUR hand is what I would go with. For me, I chose GLOCK, so best for me subcompact 9mm would be G26.

    i wish i could get my hands on the new Beretta sc to try it out.
    if i like the way it shoots ill buy it in a heartbeat.probably the 9mm.
