New gun carry tonight
Carried my SIG 1911 RCS for the first time tonight, after wringing it out for reliability with both range ammo and Fed 230 gr +P defensive loads. I had been carrying a CZ P-06. The 1911 actually conceals easier do to the narrower frame. When checking it out in the mirror before going out you couldn't even tell I was armed. No printing with the gun what so ever. I did notice the double mag holder for my spare mags printed a bit, but since it is a 2 mag holder it looked like I was wearing a PDA on my belt. BTW I carry IWB normally. Still have to check it out with my OWB holster.

Awesome!
I guess I missed your range/trial posting of the Sig 1911 RSC.

Hey congrats on that Sig 1911. Nice weapon. You will find that the 1911 does conceal better then most guns.

I have the same problem with my double mag carrier. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep this from printing?

I use 2 single mag holders and place them in different places. So far I conceal 2 extra mags better that way. Never could conceal the double mag carrier to well.

The key for me is to carry it right at 9 o'clock. Any further back it starts printing a bit. Also I like low ride mag holders. Good quality leather, 9 o'clock, riding low on a snug belt, mine vanishes.

Yeah, based on advice from others here the other day, today I called Milt Sparks and changed my VMII + D-4C order to VMII + 2xS-4C. Cost is going to run over $40 higher -- ouch -- but the flexibility will be worth it.
