I don't carry a .45 in an ankle holster, but I do carry a Glock 27 or even a 23 in a Fobus ankle holster regularly. I have found the Fobus to be the most comfortable ankle holster so far and at @ $41 w/shipping from LA Police Gear Tactical Gear featuring 511 Tactical, Galco, Surefire and Blackhawk a real value. Most compact .45's are comparable in weight, so I think that the Fobus to work fine for you there also.
