This is a discussion on XD Rumor is now fact! Make way 4 Da .45ACP within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; http://www.combatcarry.com/vbulletin...ead.php?t=5804...
I saw your thread about the rumor Eculidean but didn't see that you actually uncovered the secret. Man I thought I had some good dirt!
You're right about being happy and pissed at the same time though.
I'll stick with my 220!

It might be interesting if the gun came in a compact version. Wich I doubt, especaly if it holds 13rds.
I'm sure it's a bigger gun along the lines of its competition. If it has the same XD grip angle and the like however, it should be comfortable to hold.
The current XD frame in my hands fits well, but I consider it to be the smallest grip I can actually get a three finger grip on. My fingers almost wrap over onto themselves. I think the .45 ACP version may have a little more girth to hold on to.
It might be a nice thing to have, in a few years. I have Orangutan like limbs, so the large grip 13 rd .45ACP may be nice for my monkey fingers.
It'll be tempting. I wish they would have offered a single stack version.
Special sections for S&W and Ruger
Yeah no kidding! I'd be foaming at the mouth for a single stack version.
