Gun broke, now I'm in Love!!!

So I'm at the range today, and put about 35 rounds through my taurus revolver. Go to load the next five rounds and the cylinder will not stay closed (The center pin is stuck). This is a brand new gun with less than 100 rounds through it....

Anyway, sending it back to taurus and that's that. I quickly realized that I can't leave because I just got there! So I go over to the counter and ask to see the Glock 26... end of story. Rented it for 10 bucks, ran 50 rounds through it and the gun is now on lay-away...

You can't go wrong with a G26. I sure like mine, and 11 rounds of 115 gr +p+ JHPs will more than get the job done.

A real plus with Taurus is that if you are ever instantly totally incapacitated in a defensive shooting scenario because your defensive firearm became instantly totally incapacitated ~ they will also repair it "free of charge" for your surviving next of kin.

    I agree...

granted I've only put 50 rounds through it, it was very accurate and felt very comfortable in my hands.

Nice move! Nothing quite like a Glock for that unconditional love. More than likely this will be just the first.

Good thing you didnt shoot a 1911, that would have cost you another 500 bux.

Taurus and glocks are not on the same playing field. I had a similar experience
with a taurus pt-111.In my case it went down the road for glock 17.Anybody
tries to tell you taurus is equal to this brand when they cost less
this is not the case.Remember the time honored adage ,you get what you pay

I agree to a point...there are guns a lot more exensive than a Glock that are no where near as reliable or "abuse resistant."
