    P3AT

I know very little about the Ruger, but I own the P3AT and love it. I had issues with failures initially and then realized it was operator error, I was limp wristing it.

While we are talking with those who carry the P3AT, Im looking for the best ammo/stopping power I can carry in it...any suggestions?

The Corbon DPX rounds seem to be one of the best SD rounds that you can get for the P3AT. It has been experience though, that it is hard to find.

I have both the P3AT and the LCP. I have put several hundred rounds through each of them (retired OF) with no problems with either pistol. While both have worked admirably a cursory visual inspection leads me to feel that the LCP is of higher quality. The ability to hold the slide back on the LCP is, to me, a real difference maker. I find both to be fully functional but I like the LCP better. Just one man's opinion.

This thread makes me regret selling my p3at, because mine performed flawlessly.

I tryed every shelf ammo I could get my hands on, mixed ammo in the mag, limp wristed, etc. I never had a FTF, FTE,...nothing. It hurts to shoot it after a couple mags
