I found it used and in non-functioning shape ( the last owner, well it took two cleanings just to clean the caked on powder out of the slide, and the extractor was bent) on the internet at american guns and through a shop in Arizona and knowing that this pistol had a lifetime warranty through Nighthawk I bought it. I sent it back to them, and 2 weeks later I got it back and it's just like brand new. I only paid $1668.00 for it. I was just at the right place at the right time.
I'm impressed, I really like the checkering on the aft end of the slide.
The muzzle end of a .45 pretty much says, "Go Away" in every language.

Very nice! I'm scandalized to think that somebody would put up the bucks for a Nighthawk, then let it rot like that. Good for you!

"Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it."
Very nice, I'd be afraid that I would loose it. Before anyone says anything, I'm very careful and mindful of all of my belongings. It's just something worth that much I'd have alot of mind problems pulling it out of the safe.
Kudos anyways, I bet it shoots well.
I like your taste in pistolas...![]()
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."
