Is LCP harder to hold than the Kel-tec?

A friend has a Kel-tec in .380....I was looking at the Ruger LCP...but I've heard from people that shot both that the LCP was harder to keep in your hand when firing....less stipple?

I like the 3AT better for that very reason.

That's the only thing they didn't try to copy. I have carried a couple of KTs for the last few years and find they work very well if kept clean and well fed on good gun chow. Remington Golden Sabers work well as do most good FMJ. Personally prefer FMJ for reliable feeding and deep penetration. Double Tap has some loads that give 200 pounds of muzzle energy in your choice of FMJ or hollow point.
pressure within SAAMI standards(not +P) and barely any muzzle flash. Load this into a real KT youre good to go.

Of the two, I prefer my KelTec. It has served me well for over 5 years...or longer, it's been a while...a great CCW pocket gun for a BUG, or a run to the store or cut the grass partner.
I would never get rid of mine...fits the hand very well...just not fun to shoot at the range for more than just a few mags worth.
